YUNOVA · No-code Automation

Module 11: Automation architecture

Notes for offline study · 3 November 2026

Mapping a business process for automation

Key points

  • Write each step of the process, who does it and what triggers it.
  • Mark the repetitive, rule-based steps as automation candidates.
  • Fix a messy process first; automating it only makes the mess faster.

Sub-workflows and modular automations

Key points

  • A sub-workflow is a reusable automation called by other automations.
  • Splitting big flows into modules makes them easier to test and fix.
  • Pass clear inputs and outputs between the modules.

API rate limits and pagination in automations

Key points

  • APIs limit how many requests you can send per minute.
  • Add delays or batching so the automation stays under the limit.
  • Pagination fetches large result sets page by page until none are left.

Monitoring automations in production

Key points

  • Check run history regularly for failed or stuck runs.
  • Set error alerts by email or chat so failures are seen quickly.
  • Add error handlers and retries for steps that call outside services.
