Toasts, dialogs and snackbars

Toasts, dialogs and snackbars

Key points

• A Toast shows a short message that disappears on its own and takes no action.
• A Snackbar appears at the bottom and can carry one action, such as Undo.
• A dialog interrupts the user and asks for a decision before they continue.
