Short answer
Haan, blog likh kar paise kamaye ja sakte hain, but slowly, and usually small amounts at the start. I want to be straight with you: nobody can promise a number. What you earn depends on how many real people read what you write, and that takes months, not days.
I built Write & Earn on YUNOVA because I kept getting the same question from learners: "Sir, kya main padhte-padhte kuch kama sakta hoon?" This is my honest answer.
The three real routes
1. Your own blog with ads
You start a blog, write regularly, and apply for an ad network like Google AdSense. Google decides whether your site qualifies, and your site must follow its programme policies (AdSense eligibility). In my experience, a new blog earns close to nothing for the first few months, because search engines take time to trust a new site.
Good for: people who enjoy writing and can wait. Hard part: you handle the site, the traffic and the approval yourself.
2. Freelance writing
Businesses pay writers per article or per word. This pays faster than a blog, because you are paid for delivering the work, not for views. The catch: you have to find clients, and beginners often start at low rates until they have samples to show.
Good for: people who want money for each piece. Hard part: finding the first clients.
3. Writing on a platform that shares earnings
Some platforms pay you based on reads. On YUNOVA, this is Write & Earn: you write about something you are learning, I review it, and once it is published you earn ₹10 for every 1,000 counted views. You can withdraw from ₹50 to your UPI ID, and I pay it manually within 15 days of approval. Rules apply, and it is only for writers aged 18 or older. The full rules are on the Write & Earn page.
To be clear about scale: as an example only, 20,000 counted views would be ₹200. That is pocket money, not a salary. Many posts get far fewer views.
Aap jaise students ke liye iska asli fayda paise se zyada yeh hai: aap jo seekh rahe hain use likhne se woh pakka ho jaata hai, aur aapke paas ek public writing sample ban jaata hai.
What actually gets read
Google says it rewards content made for people, not for search engines (Google: helpful content). In practice, posts that do well answer one clear question from real experience:
- "Maine Tally GST entry kaise seekhi, aur kahan atka"
- "CA Inter ke last 60 din: mera plan"
- "Spoken English ghar par: kya kaam aaya, kya nahi"
What does not work
- Copying or rewriting someone else's article. On YUNOVA it is rejected and any earnings are voided.
- Posting AI-generated text you did not think through. Readers notice, and so do we.
- Asking friends to refresh your page. Those views are not counted, and fake views get voided.
Taxes
Any money you receive is income, and you are responsible for any tax on it. If you are unsure, check the Income Tax portal or ask a CA.
Where to start today
- Pick one thing you learned this week.
- Write 600 to 1,200 words explaining it to someone who is starting today.
- Send it for review at /blog/write.
Read how views are counted on Write & Earn before you start, so there are no surprises.
