CA Foundation & Inter Jan 2027: Exam Form Dates and Timetable

Short answer

ICAI has announced the January 2027 exams for CA Foundation and Intermediate:

• CA Intermediate: Group I on 2, 4, 6 January 2027, Group II on 8, 10, 12 January 2027, from 2 PM.
• CA Foundation: 3, 5, 7 and 9 January 2027.
• Exam form: opens 3 November 2026 on ICAI's Self Service Portal. 16 November 2026 is the last date without a late fee.

I checked these on 27 October 2026 across reports of ICAI's announcement. One report says two Inter papers are shorter; I couldn't confirm that, so check your admit card and ICAI's notice for exact timings.

Notice how Foundation and Inter papers fall on alternate days. ICAI uses the same centres for both.

Filling the exam form: my checklist

The form is simple, but small slips cost students a lot of stress later. Before you start:

1. SSP login works. Test it now, before 3 November.
2. Eligibility. Make sure your registration and any study-period requirement is complete for this attempt. ICAI's notice lists the rules.
3. Group choice. For Inter, decide: one group or both. Be honest about your preparation.
4. Exam centre and medium. Choose carefully. Changes later are limited.
5. Photo and signature. Clear, recent, in the size the portal asks.
6. Fee payment. Use a payment method that works. Save the receipt PDF.
7. Download the filled form and keep it with the receipt.

Fees are listed in ICAI's notice. I'm not repeating them here because the official notice is the safe source and fees can differ by centre (India vs abroad) and by group.

What to do with the time left

For Foundation students, the same idea works: one round of revision with questions, one round of mocks at exam time, and a light final week.
