What you should understandआपको क्या समझना है?
- A phrasal verb is a verb plus a small word, and together they mean something new: 'give up' means stop trying.
- Learn them in a sentence, not alone: 'I'll look after the kids' is easier to remember than 'look after'.
- The same verb changes meaning with a different word: turn on the light, turn down an offer.
- With many of them the object can move: 'switch the fan off' and 'switch off the fan' are both fine.
