- Number format सिर्फ दिखावट बदलता है, value नहीं: 2.456 को 2 decimals में 2.46 दिखेगा, पर गणना 2.456 से ही होगी।
- Format Cells का shortcut Ctrl+1। Ctrl+Shift+5 = Percentage, Ctrl+Shift+1 = comma और 2 decimals वाला Number format।
- Percentage format value को 100 से गुणा करके दिखाता है: 0.18 → 18%। Cell में पहले से 18 हो तो 1800% दिखेगा।
- Value सच में decimals तक काटनी हो (bill के paise) तो =ROUND(A1,2); सिर्फ format से totals में फ़र्क दिखता है।
