- Custom rule: New Rule > "Use a formula to determine which cells to format"। Formula TRUE हो तो format लगता है।
- पूरी row रंगनी हो: A2:F100 select करके =$E2="Pending"—column पर $, row पर नहीं। Formula पहली cell के हिसाब से लिखें।
- Manage Rules में ऊपर वाला rule पहले लगता है; एक ही property (जैसे fill) पर दो rules टकराएँ तो ऊपर वाला जीतता है।
- "Stop If True" tick हो तो वह rule TRUE होने पर उस cell पर नीचे के rules नहीं लगते। "Applies to" range ज़रूर जाँचें।
